If you are looking for a dorky dog with big paws, that loves water, plays great with other dogs who is very smart and listens well AND is laid back for a puppy, then Romano is your guy! He is a 6 month old Hound mix (we think) that, judging by the size of his paws, will be a big boy. He is crate trained, house trained, loves to play but not overly so, and enjoys a lap to lay his head on. We aren't sure how his with with cats, but he is so friendly, we don't think there would be any issues. A home with a fenced yard and another playful would be best for him. He is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have questions about Romano not covered in this bio, please email email@example.com. Ariel is a 22 pound 5 month old lab mix. Ariel hasn't had a very good start in life: she had a accident or trauma to her right side of her face that left her with a deformed eye and ear on the right side. It also left her mostly deaf. She can hear some but not a lot so someone that will use hand signals would be helpful for her. She can see fine and her eye doesn't bother her. Despite her sad beginning, Ariel loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs! We aren't sure how she does with cats but with proper introductions she should be good with them. She would be good with children. Ariel is very active and loves to play and to be with her person. A fenced in yard is required with this adoption. Another dog to play with would be nice but not required. Ariel is working on her potty training. She is crate trained, spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.00, if you have any questions not answered in this bio email firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out a app to apply for adoption go to our web site at http://www.projecthoperecue.org

Meet Betty! She is a happy go lucky, 60ish lb black lab mix who is around 2 years old. She is great around other dogs, big and small, absolutely loves people and would probably be ok with cats. While she would be great with kids, older kids are preferred only due to her size. She is house and crate trained, though she really doesn't need to be crated. Betty is the perfect car rider and will sit in the back just looking out the window. She is a great watch dog and enjoys a good head scratch and a cuddle on the couch (yes, sometimes she thinks she is a lap dog!). She would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced yard is required. Betty is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.00. This beautiful baby is Sandy. She is about 2 years old and is a Chihuahua mix. She is looking for a permanent home to spend the rest of her life being loved. She was hit by a car and left on the side of the road until a good samaritan picked her up. Because of that injury, she does have a gimpy back leg but that does not stop her at all from running outside and having lots of fun with her fur foster friends. With a little bit of time she does get along with other dogs, We don't know if she gets along with cats. She is working on housebreaking. She does use the potty pads, and is crate trained. A fenced in yard is preferable to keep her safe She loves to spend lots of time in your lap getting all kinds of hugs and kisses. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. If you open your heart and home to this pretty baby she will be your best friend furever. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you have question about Sandy not covered in this bio, please email email@example.com. To apply to adopt, visit our website at www.projecthoperescueorg.

The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
