Ariel is a 48 pound, 1 year old old lab mix. Ariel hasn't had a very good start in life, she had a accident or trauma to her right side of her face that left her with a deformed eye and ear. Her injuries have left her hearing impaired - she can hear higher pitch sounds. Despite everything, Ariel can see well! Her eye doesn't bother her at all :)
Ariel loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs. She is unknown about cats, but with proper introductions her foster mom believes that she would do well with them. Ariel would also be good with children.
Ariel is very active - she loves to play and be with her person. She loves to play in the water and has lots of fun playing in the doggie pool. A fenced in yard is required with this adoption; another dog to play with would be nice, but is not required. Ariel does need to be a part of an active family. If you like going to the lake, Ariel would love to go with you, or if you like to run, Ariel would be a nice running companion!!!! Ariel is housebroke, crate trained, spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on her vaccines, her adoption fee is $250.00.

interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
