Zack is a sweet 6 pound, 10 year old Chihuahua. He hasn't had a very good life up until now and wasn't taken good care of. He had a bad skin issue from fleas but is now healing and his hair is growing back. He also has heartworm and because he is older is being treated with the slow kill method, which means he will need to undergo treatment for a while. Once a month he gets Advantage multi, which is a topical heartworm prevention and hopefully, after 6 months he should be heartworm free. He has had the first month already and when he gets adopted we will send the remainder 5 months with him!
Zack is a special little guy who loves to sit on your lap and cuddle up with you. At night he tucks himself in and covers up under his blanket. He gets along with other dogs, but unsure about cats and since he is older and small it is best if children are older and respectful of him. Zack is housebroken , crate trained but really doesn't need to be crated. He would be good in a apartment and doesn't need a fenced in area, but just needs to be kept on a leash when outside. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175.00. If you want a sweet little guy to cuddle with and keep you company Zack is your guy! if you have a questions about him email firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out app for him go to our web site http://www.projecthoperescue.org
interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
