Bernie is a 14-pound Shih Tzu mix who had an injured leg when we got him, but with crate rest, it healed up and he walks great now. Bernie is a little shy at first, but after he gets to know you he loves to sit in your lap and be with you. Bernie gets along with other dogs but prefers dogs that don't bother him or get into his face. We aren't sure how he is with cats. Since he is shy, a home with no kids or older kids would be the best if at all. A fenced-in yard is preferred. Bernie is crate trained and doing good on his potty training, but he tends to mark so he needs to be watched. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines.
Bernie’s adoption fee is $250.00. If you have any questions about Bernie not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
