Hi friends, I’m Charlie! I’m a 1-year-old Vizsla mix tripod, but honestly, I forget I’m missing a leg most of the time! I’m still figuring out big stairs, but I think I’m doing pretty great. My foster mom always tells me how beautiful my eyes are and how much love I have to give. I’m a gentle boy, and I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. Back at my Texas foster home, I even got along with cats!

I’m pretty laid-back—I love belly rubs, my toys and curling up for cuddles. My favorite spot is in bed with my foster parents or running around the yard with my foster siblings. Even though my life has been rough, I’m as sweet as can be, and ever since I was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas, I’ve felt so safe and loved.

I’m fully house-trained, and after the first night, I didn’t even need a crate! I like to stay close to my people and rarely leave their sight. A fenced yard would be fun, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, I’ve got plenty of kisses and cuddles to give. Could you be my forever family?
