Hi there! I’m Clover, a laid-back 5-year-old, 60lb yellow Lab mix, and I’m on the lookout for my forever family! I was rescued from a shelter in Alabama just in the nick of time and now live with my foster mom in Battle Creek, MI. Let me tell you a little about myself—I’m a low-key, low-maintenance kind of gal who loves the simple pleasures in life. My favorite things? Gentle head scratches, exploring the yard, and napping on big, soft pillows.
I’m fully housebroken and crate-trained, though I’ll be honest—I’m not a huge fan of going into my crate. But if you offer me a treat or guide me in, I’ll stubbornly make my way inside! I also love walks, but I get pretty excited and might pull on the leash a bit, so I could use some help learning to slow down. I get along great with other dogs and love running and playing with them. I’ve never met a cat, but I think I’d just leave them alone. I also do well with kids, and I’m a pretty chill passenger when it’s time for car rides. I really enjoy roaming around in a backyard, but don’t worry—I don’t need a fenced yard to be happy, a tie-out situation and some training would be good enough for me. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing friend who will fill your days with love and tail wags, I’m your girl! I am fully-vetted, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300. If you have questions about me not covered in this bio, please email [email protected]. Ready to make me a part of your family? Fill out the adoption application HEREI can’t wait to meet you!

interested in adopting? The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place. CategoriesArchives |
