Hello, my name is Cupid, and believe me when I say, I live up to my name. I am
definitely a lover.
I am a one-year old Pit Bull who is looking for that someone special to give me lots of
attention. I walk with a stiff back leg because when I was just a little pup I got hit by a
car. Some very nice people took me in and made sure I got the medical attention I
needed to keep going. I don’t care that I am 54 pounds of muscle, I am still a lap dog.
I am a fantastic foster brother; I love all the dogs and I love all the people. Since I’ve
been here in Monroe, MI I’ve had two foster sisters, and two foster brothers. I loved
playing with them all. My sisters have found new homes, and one brother too. But I
still have a brother I get to play with every day. I even met a foster cousin who is the
same kind of dog as I am, only smaller, and we play like we’ve known each other all our
lives.
I don’t like it when the other dogs try to eat my food, my foster mom lets me eat in my
kennel so the other dogs can’t get to it. My foster mom seemed to want some of my food
too, so I let her take it out of my bowl. I’m a little more willing to share my treats with
them. I sit very nicely to get my treats when I’ve been a good boy.
I let my foster mom know when I need to go outside by walking to the back door and
looking at her or putting my head on her lap. Sometimes I even bop the button that says
Outside next to the back door, but I don’t always remember to do that. I don’t have
accidents in my crate during the night or when I’ve had to be locked up when she leaves.
My foster mom has cats upstairs and one day I got passed the gate to see what she was
doing, and the cats didn’t like me, but I just wanted to see what my foster mom does
upstairs when she goes up there.
I like all my toys, as well as all the toys for the other dogs. I can be very possessive of
them, but after a while I give in and share.
I’m looking for the perfect person to love me like I will love them. I will be by your side
trying to help if you don’t feel good. I enjoy going for walks, I don’t pull on the leash. love getting in the car to go places, even if we are just going for a drive.
