Kurby

Kurby is a 4-year-old Dachshund mix who weighs about 20lbs. Kurby is a happy-go-lucky, sweet, silly, handsome fella who's always in a great mood. He loves to play with his toys, wrestle with his fur sister, take long naps or just hang out with his people. Kurby absolutely adores going for car rides and exploring the world outside his yard.

Kurby unfortunately, in his past life, had an injury to his front leg so he may walk a little funny or just hop along but he certainly does not let that stop him from running, jumping, and playing. He also has a crooked jaw that just adds to his cuteness and leads to naps with his tongue hanging out.

Kurby would do well in just about any home but would probably do best with another canine companion and a fenced yard. He is good with dogs, cats, and kids. He is housebroken, crate trained, up to date with vaccines and preventatives, and is microchipped. Kurby had tested positive for heartworm disease but has gone through his treatments and is now ready to find his forever home.

Please note that Project Hope does not have a physical shelter and relies on volunteers to foster our dogs. Kurby is currently being fostered in LaPorte, IN. His adoption fee is $250.00. If you have any questions about Kurby not answered in this bio email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.

    interested in adopting?

The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application.  In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference.  Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet.  If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
