Hey there, I'm Skymir, your lively 1.5 year-old male black lab mix, weighing in at a solid 50 pounds. My tail never stops wagging, and my heart is as big as they come. I found myself alone in a southern shelter when I was just a puppy. I was so scared, but thankfully a kind rescuer scooped in to save me. Now I’m here in Michigan (being fostered near Coldwater) looking for my forever family!

I live for those moments of butt wiggles and playful romps with my foster siblings. Chewing on a good, hard bone? It's my idea of heaven. My playful spirit shines through in everything I do, from chasing squirrels to snuggling up after a long day. I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! Training sessions are my jam, and I'm always eager to please. Sometimes I get a bit too excited and might jump up, but with a little patience and guidance, I'll get the hang of it.

At first, I might be a bit reserved, but give me some time, and I'll warm up to you in no time. Crisp mornings call for cuddles in my cozy crate, while sunny afternoons are perfect for basking in the warmth of the sun. I would thrive in a home with a FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and explore to my heart's content. Whether I'm playing with another dog or keeping an active family on their toes, I'm happiest when I have company.
