Hi friends, I’m Wizzard, a 9-month-old, male Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, and I weigh in at just 10 pounds. I’ve been through a lot, but things are looking up! I was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in Texas, and it was pretty scary. I had a bad skin condition from fleas and the awful living conditions, and I was frightened of everything – leashes, being touched, even walking on grass.
But thanks to some amazing people, I’ve made so much progress. Now, I actually enjoy being petted and can walk on a leash without being scared. I’m still a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I come around. I get along well with other dogs and think I’d be okay with cats, too. Because I’m a little timid, I’d do best with older children. I’d love a home with a fully FENCED-IN YARD so I can run and play to my heart’s content. Having another dog as a playmate would be awesome, too! I’m potty and crate trained, fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350. I’m told I’m super cute, and once my hair grows back in, I’ll be even more handsome. If you have any questions not answered in this bio, please send an email to [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? CLICK HERE. I can’t wait to meet you and start our new adventures together! I can’t wait to find my forever home – although I had a bad start, I know the rest of my life is going to be amazing!

interested in adopting? The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place. CategoriesArchives |
