Calling all German Shepard dog lovers! Hi! My name is Daniel. I’m a 1 year old, 60lb German Shepard mix just waiting for my forever family to adopt me. At just 4 months old I found myself alone in a kill shelter before I was rescued. If you know Shepards, you know that I’m super smart, eager to learn, energetic and need my brain and body to be exercised regularly. If you are looking for a dog to do something exciting like “nose work”, or similar skill, that might be right up my alley. I’m also an extremely sweet and fun guy to hang out with! I love water….in fact, I’m getting pretty good at paddleboarding! And, if you are a hiker, jogger or bike rider, I’m learning to be a great partner for you, too!
I’m housebroken, crate-trained, love to go for walks, enjoy car rides and exploring. I’ve learned to fetch (I usually bring it back!), play Frisbee, and a good game of tug-of-war is always fun! Since I’m still a youngster, I’ve been working on my big dog manners with a wonderful trainer that I adore. My new family will need to continue working with me to help me be the very best boy that I can be. In fact, my trainer says she’ll even stay in contact with you to help you continue my lessons! How cool is that? My very best forever family MUST have a fenced in yard, kids over the age of 10 would be awesome, a big comfy crate for me when you leave the house, and most of all, I REALLY would be best with a fun, patient canine companion to play with me and that I can learn from. I’m a quick study when another dog shows me what to do and when I’ve gone a little too far in my playing….oops…I just get so excited!!! I am fully-vetted, neutered, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300. I live with my foster mom and canine friend in South Bend, Indiana, but if you live in Michigan, we can make that happen. So, if you are looking for a tall, dark, handsome, smart, fun, sweet and energetic guy to join your family, please consider me! If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. interested in adopting? The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place. CategoriesArchives |
