Roy is an 8-year-old, 17-pound Chihuahua mix. Roy hasn't had a very good life: he has an old scar on his back because he was shot with a pellet gun twice. He was heartworm positive, but he just went through treatment and is now ready to find his forever home.
Roy is very sweet and loves everyone. He is good with other dogs, but he would prefer a home with a calm dog. We aren't sure how he is with cats because he hasn't been around them. He would be good with children that are respectful of dogs. Roy walks great on a leash and loves to go for car rides. A fenced-in yard is preferred. Roy is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250.00.If you have any questions about Roy not answered in this bio email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.

Sebring is a 33 pound, 9-month-old lab mix. She was in the medical ward of a Texas shelter with an injured leg and eventually had to have FHO surgery.
Sebring is very sweet but shy, so she needs time to get to know you. Sebring gets along with dogs, and it is best if there is another dog in the home to help her with her confidence. We aren't sure how she is with cats. Since she is shy, older kids would be the best, if at all. A fenced-in yard is required for her adoption. Sebring is crate and house-trained, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.00. interested in adopting? The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place. CategoriesArchives
