Stella is a 3 year old, 54 pound female shepherd, possible catahoula, mix who is looking for her furever home and is a kid's dream dog.
She snuggles at bedtime, enthusiastically rides shotgun during school pick up and drop off, and is up for travel, hiking, and exploring adventures. She tolerates toddler’s pulls on ears and tugs on her tail, and is happy to be a super soft pillow for children’s heads on movie night. If you dare leave the house without her, she’ll stare sadly at the front door until you return. She is gently playful, calm, cheerful, and adoring of her people. She’s also gorgeous - Stella has beautiful brindle fur and the sweetest little face. Stella will chase deer, squirrels, and other critters without hesitation, so would do best in a home with a tall fenced yard and no cats. She has done well with most dogs, but has shown aggression toward others, so might be best as an only dog. She is smart, incredibly gentle with all people, and eager to please, and could be a good candidate to train as a therapy dog. Her adoption fee is $300. If you have any questions or concerns not mentioned in this write-up, please send an email to [email protected]. If you would like to apply for her, click HERE. Hi there, my name is Wiggles, and I am a wiggly little girl. I am 9 months old and 27 pounds, terrier mix . I was in a shelter but needed more one on one as I am very shy and need time to get to know you! I love to run and play and I do get the zoomies outside. I love playing with toys, too. I get along with all dogs big or small, don't know about cats as I haven't been around any, but I think after I meet them I would be okay. Since I am shy the children should be older. I will require a fenced in yard and another dog in the home to help with my confidence. A quiet home is the best. I'm doing good in my foster home and have gained some confidence, but still need to gain more confidence. I am a very sweet and loving little girl!!
I need a family that will give me time to adjust to them. I am doing very good on my potty training. I am crate trained, micro-chipped, spayed and up to date on my vaccines. My adoption fee is $350.00. If you want to know anything more about me not answered in his bio, email us at [email protected] or if you are that special family and want to apply to adopt me, click HERE. Hi there. My name is Tessa and I am a 7 month old 23 pound beagle. I was found at an abandoned house in Virginia and 2 nice pilots volunteered to fly me to Michigan and now I'm looking for my forever home! They say I am a lemon colored Beagle and that I am very pretty, but I'm very shy and it will take a patient and understanding person that will give me time. I will need another dog in the home to help with my confidence and for comfort. A fenced in yard is also required! A quiet home would be the best for me!
I love to run and play, and explore outside and I really like playing with my toys and other dogs. I get along with other dogs, don't know about cats but I think I would be okay with them. I would be good with children but due to my shyness it's best if the children are older as the young ones move around quickly and that would scare me! I am doing good on my potty training. I'm crate trained and I stay dry in it all night. I'm micro-chipped, spayed, and up to date on my vaccines for my age. My adoption fee is $350.00. If you have any questions about me not answered in this bio, email us at [email protected]. If you have another dog and a fence in yard and want to fill out an adoption application, click HERE. Hi there! I'm Queenie, a very shy sweet little 9-pound Chiweenie , I’m 6 years old. My life didn’t start off so great—I came from a scary hoarding situation in Texas where I didn’t get much love or attention. I used to be really afraid of being touched or even walking on a leash. But guess what? I’ve come a long way! Now, I like being petted by my person after I get to know you, though I’m still very shy, so I need someone who will be patient with me while I continue to learn that the world isn’t so scary, and I will need a woman as my care person, I'm okay with a man but it takes a long time for me to trust him.
I love hanging out with other dogs, big or small, and playing with my friends is one of my favorite things! I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think about them. After a good play session, you can find me chilling on the couch for a nice nap. I’m also housebroken, crate trained, spayed, micro chipped and up to date on my vaccines—pretty much the full package! Because I’m still working on building my confidence, I’d feel safest in a home with a fully FENCED-IN YARD, another dog, and either older children or none at all. It might take me a little while to get to know you, but once I do, I’ll be your loyal little buddy. My adoption fee is $300 and I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan. I’m really hoping to find a family who can give me the love and patience I deserve. Questions about me? Please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? Fill out the adoption application HERE. Will you be the one to help me feel at home? Hey there, I'm Skymir, your lively 1.5 year-old male black lab mix, weighing in at a solid 49 pounds. My tail never stops wagging, and my heart is as big as they come. I found myself alone in a southern shelter when I was just a puppy. I was so scared, but thankfully a kind rescuer scooped in to save me. Now I’m here in Michigan (being fostered near Coldwater) looking for my forever family!
I live for those moments of butt wiggles and playful romps with my foster siblings. Chewing on a good, hard bone? It's my idea of heaven. My playful spirit shines through in everything I do, from chasing squirrels to snuggling up after a long day. I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! Training sessions are my jam, and I'm always eager to please. Sometimes I get a bit too excited and might jump up, but with a little patience and guidance, I'll get the hang of it. At first, I might be a bit reserved, but give me some time, and I'll warm up to you in no time. Crisp mornings call for cuddles in my cozy crate, while sunny afternoons are perfect for basking in the warmth of the sun. I would thrive in a home with a FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and explore to my heart's content. Whether I'm playing with another dog or keeping an active family on their toes, I'm happiest when I have company. I’m fully-vetted l, housebroken, crate-trained and ready to join your family with an adoption fee of $300. Questions? Shoot an email to [email protected]. Ready to make me a part of your family? He is an 11 month old, 30 pound (and growing) male white german shepherd who found himself in a Texas shelter with a toe injury. He has recovered well and made his way up to Michigan in search of his forever home.
He is all ears and all cute! Jacob gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is crate and house trained and an all around smart boy, typical of his breed. He is a little shy at first, but comes right out of his shell after a bit. A home with a another playful dog is preferred. Jacob is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.00. Please email us at [email protected] if you have questions about him. Ready to fill out an adoption application? Click HERE. Hi friends, I'm Blake, a big hunk of puppy love with an even bigger heart! At 1 year old and 52 lbs, I'm still growing into my paws and discovering the joys of the world. I’m most likely a Spaniel/Pointer mix and I think I’m going to be a bigger boy. I'm super friendly and submissive to other dog pals, and I dream of finding a forever home with a furry companion to share my adventures with. I love giving my canine friends kisses and doing laps together around the yard. My forever home will definitely need a fully FENCED-IN yard and a doggie best friend for me.
I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan. Life has been a whirlwind of new experiences since I arrived here, and I'm still getting used to being inside a home. But hey, I've already nailed crate and house training, so I'm a quick learner! While I'm still figuring out this whole leash thing, I'm making progress one paw at a time. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, I know I'll get there. I haven’t had any exposure to cats yet, and I think I’d do well with children over 6 years old. I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $300.00. Are you the family I've been waiting for? If you have questions about me, please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? To fill out the adoption application, click HERE. Let's embark on this journey together and make memories that will last a lifetime! Hey there, I’m Zero! My foster family gave me that name because they say I remind them of the dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I was found wandering the streets of Louisiana and found myself scared and alone at a high-kill shelter. Luckily, Project Hope rescued me. I’ve made my way north and now I’m ready to find my forever family!
I’m about 2 years old, weigh 45 pounds, and have short, fluffy black fur with some bronze mixed in. People say my deep brown eyes are pretty hard to resist. I’m probably a mix of a bully breed, Shar-Pei and Lab, but all I know is I’m 100% lovable and loyal. I live with my foster family in Saginaw, Michigan, and boy, is it a full house! There’s my foster mom, five human kids, two dog siblings (one’s a Great Dane, so she’s huge!), a cat and even a rabbit. I get along great with the other dogs, and I’m trying really hard to get used to the cat and the rabbit too. I also love every human I meet—big, small, young, old—I’m friends with everyone! When I’m not running zoomies in the backyard with the other dogs, I’m working on my training. I’ve already mastered “sit,” “here,” and “down,” and I’m learning more commands like “leave it” and “off.” My foster mom says I’m a quick learner, and with a little time and patience, I can do just about anything. Also, I’ll need a fully FENCED-IN YARD so I can run and play until my heart’s content! I love chewing on toys, especially horns, antlers, and stuffies, and I take treats gently. I sleep all night in my bed in my foster mom’s room without any accidents. I’m not a fan of getting on the furniture—no couches or human beds for me, thanks! I just like to be near you, whether it’s at your feet or next to your chair. I’m working on crate training, too. It’s not my favorite, but I’m getting better since I know my foster mom always comes back for me. Car rides make me a little nervous, but I’m improving there as well—I prefer hanging out in the back seat. I’m a sweet, goofy and devoted pup who just wants to follow my people from room to room and be with them always. Could you be the one I’ve been waiting for? My adoption fee is $300, and I’m fully-vetted and microchipped. Questions about me? Email [email protected]. If you think we’re a perfect match, fill out an adoption application HERE. I can’t wait to meet you! Howdy! I’m Hope, a beautiful 1-year-old, 40-pound black Lab mix with one ear that just loves to flip the wrong way—it’s kind of my signature look! I had a lot of things stacked against me - I was a black dog living in a Texas shelter and I had Parvo - both of which can be a death sentence for a lot of dogs - but I was so lucky to have been Rescued by Project Hope! I don’t even have any lasting side effects of the Parvo - how lucky am I?!
At my first foster home in Texas, I discovered two things I absolutely love: water and playing fetch with my doggy friends. Now that I’m in Monroe, Michigan, I’m living with a couple of tiny humans (toddlers), a kid and my foster sister dog, and I adore them all! I play hard, but I cuddle even harder. My favorite toys are balls and my stuffed dragon, Pete. I’m also a big fan of snuggling on the couch after a fun day of fetch. I’m housebroken, love riding in a car, crate-trained and love my crate. I even cuddle with the resident dog in my crate. I know a lot of basic commands, though I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash. I’m a quick learner, so I’ll get it soon with a little more practice! I’d do best in a home with another dog to play with, an active family to keep me engaged and a FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and play fetch to my heart’s content. I’m fully-vetted, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300. If you think we could be the perfect match, I’d love to meet you! If you have any questions about me, please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? Please fill out an adoption application HERE. Let’s play fetch and then snuggle up for some couch time—I can’t wait to be your forever buddy! Hi there! My name is Alfie, and I’m on the lookout for a family that can keep up with my energy and love my goofy antics! I’m a 30-pound Jack Russell/Beagle mix, and even though I’m 1 year old, I still act like the playful puppy that I am. I was rescued from a southern shelter just in the nick of time, and now I’m hanging out with my foster family in Battle Creek, MI, on the lookout for my forever home.
I’ve got a body that just can’t stop wiggling with excitement, but I’m super treat-motivated, so I think I’ll be easy to train. I’m crate-trained and housebroken, and I have an obsession with shoes if left unsupervised. I think it’s because they smell like my people! I adore my dog siblings and my 10-year-old human foster sister, although sometimes they remind me to chill out when I get a little too excited. I love to play with them, but I respect their space when they need a break. Because I’m still working through my puppy nibbling phase, I’d probably do best in a home with older children. I enjoy going on walks, but my absolute favorite thing is chasing squirrels, so I’ll need a fully FENCED-IN YARD to keep me safe during my squirrel patrols! I also ride well in the car, but I might need a little help getting in. My dream forever family is active, ready to help me work on my puppy habits, and willing to shower me with as much love as I’m ready to give them. I’m already fully-vetted, microchipped and ready to be yours for an adoption fee of $300! If you have any questions about me, feel free to email at [email protected]. Nugget (Chicky/Nuggy as we like to call him) says hold my pup cup, and I'll show you ! This handsome lab mix boy is approximately 8 months old, 65 lbs and growing, fully vetted, and looking for his next adventure with his forever family. Nugget is potty and crate trained. He loves being outside and playing with other dogs. Cat compatibility is unknown, but with proper introduction and training, he should do fine. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Because of his blindness (unknown cause), he does startle easily and will need a family who is patient, understanding, and can help him with his confidence. Nugget does require a fully fenced yard. He is fully vetted and microchipped. If you have any questions not answered here, please email us at [email protected]. Ready to send in an adoption application, click HERE. Oh la la! My name is Paris and I’m a 1 year old, 35-40 lb black Lab mix and I’m très ready to find my forever home! I was rescued from a culvert in Alabama with my siblings and being able to live in a home with a family is fantastic! I sleep all night in my crate, tell my family when I need to go outside, and I'm an excellent traveler in the car. I’m being fostered in Battle Creek, Michigan.
I am an incredibly curious girl, have a lot of energy and I’m very eager to please you. I love the dog park and I have made so many friends there! I’m learning my commands and so far, I know sit, lay down, shake and wait. Plus, my leash skills are getting better every day! I'm still a little food insecure, so be careful of leaving food on the counter, but that also means I'm extremely food motivated - I'll do just about anything for a treat! I do have some anxiety around bath time, so my future family will need to work with me on that. I LOVE kids and I’m not very interested in cats. I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $300. If you have any questions not answered in this bio, please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? CLICK HERE. I can’t wait to meet you! I will definitely bring a lot of life, laughs, and love to your home! |
interested in adopting? The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet.
