Bruce Wayne is a 5.6 pound 3 year old chihuahua mix. Bruce Wayne was found as a stray in Texas and was very skinny and weak. After spending some time in a foster home, he is gaining weight and getting stronger and is now in search of his forever home.
Bruce Wayne gets along with other dogs and he does like to play with dogs his own size. He hasn't been around cats but with proper introductions he should be fine with them. Because he is so small it is best if children are older and respectful to dogs. A fenced-in area is preferred but not required, Bruce Wayne loves to cuddle with you and sit in your lap. He is doing great with his potty training; he just needs to be watched at first because he wants to mark.
He is crate trained, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $250.00. If you have any questions about Bruce Wayne not answered in this bio email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Annie is a 2-year-old terrier mix weighing about 15 lbs. She is sweet, curious and playful. She loves other dogs, cats, and kids. She is a special needs girl - she has deformed front legs. Her right rear leg is also deformed, but it does not stop her from getting around!
She is shy at first, but after a while she warms right up. She loves to play and will tell you so. She is mostly housebroken (we are still learning her tells) and will potty outside if she is brought out. She is a bit of a power chewer, so good strong chew toys are a must!
Right now, we pick her up to take her outside because we have a pea gravel area that blocks the backyard. Once she gets past the pea gravel, she runs around in the soft grass, sniffing, munching, pawing and playing. She chases the other dogs in the yard, and the more time she spends with them the more we see her try to use all of her legs.
She has recently started sitting like a kangaroo to try to climb up in my lap, imitating the other dogs in our house. She has a strong and resilient spirit and would make a great addition to any loving home.
Annie is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you have any questions about Annie not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Marina is a young, playful, and happy pup. She is estimated to be born in February or March of 2022 and weighs about 35lbs. Marina has a huge underbite and some teeth that stick out, but that doesn't stop her from anything and does not require any additional care.
Marina is happy and playful. She gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. However her playful energy may be too much for some. Marina is still jumpy and a little mouthy.
Marina does well in her crate, rides well in the car, and is doing very well with potty training. Marina loves to snuggle and be with the family. She comes when called and enjoys cuddling with the kids in the house. She is still learning how to be a house dog in her foster home and her new family will have to continue to work with her and keep the house puppy proof. A physical fenced yard is preferred, but not required.
Overall, Marina will make a great addition to a family. She is not too big and not too small. She just needs someone to see past her smile and give her a chance.
Marina is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Marina not answered in this bio email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Castro is a 1 year old, 53 lb black lab mix. He is the perfect balance between fun and laid back. He is such a good boy... goofy, energetic, snuggle bug, "let's play with the ball!", and everything that anyone would want in a sweet lab. Oh, and did we mention handsome? He is the perfect package! Loves to play, loves his people, loves to eat, and has sleeping down to an art.
Castro is crate trained, housebroken, up to date on vaccines, and neutered. He will be the piece to complete your family. It would be best for Castro to have another doggie family member to play with as well as a fenced yard.
His adoption fee is $250.00. If you have any questions about Castro not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Loki is a tall, young, lean, and handsome young Pyrenees mix looking for a kid-free home where he can play with other dogs. He weighs 60lbs right now. He loves other dogs and is an excellent walking partner. Loki turns 1 in February.
Due to lack of socialization as a young puppy, Loki is very shy with all new people. His forever home must be understanding and patient while he gets comfortable. Loki is also extremely fearful of young children. He will not be placed in a home with kids under 16. He prefers women to men, but will warm up to men with patience.
He will never be a dog that enjoys the company of strangers. He prefers a quiet spot in his crate when company comes over. He will never be the dog who jumps on strangers.
Loki has gone to soccer games and public places with kids and new people all over. He did well by his foster mom's side as long as strangers ignore him. He just isn't the kind of guy who wants all that attention.
Loki absolutely loves all other dogs. His forever home must have a playmate or two. He has gone to doggy daycare and excelled. He is extremely playful and unreactive with other dogs. When walking, if another dog barks at him he ignores them (and seems confused as to why they don't like him).
Loki has had basic obedience and knows several commands. He walks very well on a leash and enjoys car rides. Loki is crate trained, house trained, and only chews on his toys. He is an excellent house dog and enjoys stretching out for a long nap. Overall he has moments of puppy playfulness but is not a high-energy dog.
Loki is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Loki not answered in this bio email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Jojo is a 30 lb, 2 year old Aussie/Lab (?) mix that came into a Texas shelter with an injured leg that, ultimately, had to be removed, but she gets around amazing on three legs! She is all love and sweetness. Jojo can be re-directed very easily and loves belly rubs. She is excellent with small and large dogs as well as cats. She is curious about cats, but never aggressive. Jojo seems to be a bit fearful of crowds and does very well with children as long as they are not too loud or fast - no aggression, she’s only scared. Her favorite pastimes are counter surfing, digging holes, stealing, and chewing on stuff, so it's best to crate her when no one is around. A physically fenced yard is required with her adoption. Jojo is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
If you have any questions about Jojo not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Meet Lucy! This sweet 1 1/2-year-old, 45-pound Black Lab Mix has a huge heart! She came to us with a badly injured eye, which needed to be removed, but having only one eye surely doesn’t slow her down! And she’s absolutely healthy otherwise!
Lucy loves other dogs, men, women, and babies! (She lives with an 18-month-old little boy.) She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, and healthy! Lucy is housebroken and loves to play outside with her foster pup sister! She also does well on car rides! And she is the ultimate cuddler!
We think Lucy would make a great addition to any family. If you think that family might be yours, please fill out an application. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Lucy can’t wait to meet you!

Manny is a 9-pound, 1-year-old Chiweenie. Manny came to us from a back yard breeder and wasn’t socialized, so he is scared and unsure of people. Manny is coming around, but he will need someone that has experience with scared and shy dogs - he just needs a person that is patient with him and will give him time to get to know them. Manny is good with other dogs and likes to play. He loves to snuggle up with a big dog. We don't know about cats as he hasn't been around them. It is best that Manny not be in a home with children because their activeness would frighten him. Manny is starting to play with toys. He does like to sit in his person’s lap and be with them after he becomes better acquainted with them. Manny doesn't like to be crated at night and would prefer to sleep in bed with his human. Manny can be crated when you leave - he will whine at first but then will settle down. Manny is housebroken, neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines, his adoption fee is $250.00.

Sunny is a 5 year old, 40 lb yellow lab mix. She ended up in a Texas shelter with a pretty bad leg injury, which ultimately resulted in her leg being amputated. She has absolutely no problems getting around though! She loves to play on the trampoline with her foster brother. Sunny is such a sweet girl and she loves to cuddle. She has so much energy and is very playful. She enjoys car rides and short walks. Sunny is great with all people but tends to be a little more dominant with some dogs. She is very vocal and loves to talk. We are unsure how she is with cats. A physical fenced yard is required with her adoption. Sunny is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
If you have questions about Sunny not answered in this bio, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. To apply to adopt, visit our website at http://www.projecthoperescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
Bucket is a 8 month old, 30 pound, shepard mix pup! He came to us from a shelter in Texas that was over capacity. Bucket is very social and outgoing with people, gentle, but sometimes timid in a new environment or around new dogs; no cats, please. Bucket will need a fenced in yard because he loves to run and explore!
He is housebroken, neutered, up to date on his vaccines and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Bucket not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Sebring is a 33 pound, 9-month-old lab mix. She was in the medical ward of a Texas shelter with an injured leg and eventually had to have FHO surgery.
Sebring is very sweet but shy, so she needs time to get to know you. Sebring gets along with dogs, and it is best if there is another dog in the home to help her with her confidence. We aren't sure how she is with cats. Since she is shy, older kids would be the best, if at all. A fenced-in yard is required for her adoption.
Sebring loves to play with toys and to run around outside playing with her canine friends. She also likes to lay outdoors in the fresh air!
Sebring is crate and house-trained, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Sebring not answered in this bio email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
