Sunny is a 5 year old, 40 lb yellow lab mix. She ended up in a Texas shelter with a pretty bad leg injury, which ultimately resulted in her leg being amputated. She has absolutely no problems getting around though! She loves to play on the trampoline with her foster brother. Sunny is such a sweet girl and she loves to cuddle. She has so much energy and is very playful. She enjoys car rides and short walks. Sunny is great with all people but tends to be a little more dominant with some dogs. She is very vocal and loves to talk. We are unsure how she is with cats. A physical fenced yard is required with her adoption. Sunny is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

Lonnie (aka Felony - because we broke him out of jail - LOL) is an almost 6 month old tabby kitten. Lonnie came to us from Texas where he received both a left hind leg and tail amputation. We don't know how Lonnie came to be found in such a state, but we are so glad he was given the care needed to save his life. Lonnie, thankfully, is no worse for wear. When he hops on his one back leg, he reminds his foster mom of a bunny (complete with the small nub tail). He can do almost all of the things that his foster cat brother and sister can do, except jump on the kitchen counter which is not a bad thing.
Lonnie loves to scamper around the house, tackle his cat roommates, scale the kitty tree, lay in the sun, and be held/handled. He really is the perfect boy! Lonnie would be happy in a home with another feline, a gentle dog friend (he has two medium sized canine roomies, too), or as a "single child" as long as he was guaranteed a lot of attention and playtime from his human. Lonnie often comes to his foster mom when called. He likes to sleep all night long with his foster mom on the fluffiest part of the comforter. His one fault is that he really likes food...cat, dog, and human, so he does still need to learn what is his to eat and what is not.
Lonnie is up to date on his vaccines and neutered. He *CANNOT* ever be an outdoor cat. Lonnie's adoption fee is $125.

Autumn is a 12 pound, 9 year old Maltese mix. Autumn hasn't had a very good life as she was a breeder's dog so she never got the attention she deserved. Autumn was with our rescue 2 years ago and was adopted, but her family isn’t able to care of her anymore and so are happy to help Autumn find her new forever home!
Autumn gets along well with other dogs. Her behavior is unknown about cats, as she hasn't been around any, but her foster mom thinks Autumn would be okay with them. Autumn would also be okayin a home with children but since she is older it is best if the children she lives with are older, too. Autumn loves to be with her person and sit in their lap. She does well leash and likes to go for walks. Aumn is already crated trained, but doesn't need to be crated. A fenced in area would be best but not is not required. Autumn is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00 so if you want a cuddle buddy to keep you company, Autumn is your girl!

Carley is crate and house trained and loves to chew on toys, but has a soft mouth when taking treats. She is weary of new people, so someone with Shep experience is required. She does not do well with cats. Carley is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

Sweet Penne (aka Penny) is looking for her forever family. Penne is a lab/Great Pyrenees mix who was born 2/24/22. She is approximately 45 lbs. Penne is deaf, so she is looking for a special family who can continue to work with her on cues and sign language (she knows some already). She is an active exuberant girl who is very clumsy. She plays hard and sleeps hard. She loves being outside rain or shine. She will happily play in a mud puddle and roll in the dirt. On the plus side, she is great in the bath tub. Penne loves playing with bugs, chewing on bones, and eating. She is potty trained and will go to the door to let you know she needs to go out. She is working on mastered ringing the bell. She loves people of all sizes. She is nervous at first when meeting new dogs especially if they are bigger than her; but with proper introduction, she is playing with them in no time. Penne is crate trained. Because Penne is deaf, she does require a physical fence - no exceptions. She is doing well with her leash training. Penne is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
Penne's adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Penne not answered in this bio email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Nora is a 39 pound, 4 year old beagle. Nora was a inside dog for awhile and then she was put outside into a small pen where it looks like she has had a few litter of puppies. Well, those days are over! Nora loves being inside and she loves the soft doggie beds to lounge in!
Nora gets along with other dogs but she doesn't care to play with them. We aren't sure how she is with cats since she hasn't been around them. She would be good with children. Nora gets excited at times and will do zoomies around the house! A physical fenced in area is required for this adoption (no exceptions) because Nora does like to run around in the yard and take in all the smells.
Nora will have be spayed August 30th and she will be ready to go to her forever home after that. Nora is crate & potty trained, micro-chipped and up to date on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you have any questions about Nora not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Bucket is a 8 month old, 30 pound, shepard mix pup! He came to us from a shelter in Texas that was over capacity. He is housebroken, neutered, up to date on his vaccines and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Bucket not answered in this bio email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.
Sebring is a 33 pound, 9-month-old lab mix. She was in the medical ward of a Texas shelter with an injured leg and eventually had to have FHO surgery.
Sebring is very sweet but shy, so she needs time to get to know you. Sebring gets along with dogs, and it is best if there is another dog in the home to help her with her confidence. We aren't sure how she is with cats. Since she is shy, older kids would be the best, if at all. A fenced-in yard is required for her adoption.
Sebring loves to play with toys and to run around outside playing with her canine friends. She also likes to lay outdoors in the fresh air!
Sebring is crate and house-trained, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions about Sebring not answered in this bio email us at email@example.com or to fill out an app to apply for adoption go HERE.

interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
