Oliver Twist is a 14 pound 8 year old Shih Tzu mix. When Oliver Twist was found as a stray he was walking around in circles and was blind. We are not sure what happened if he was hit or had some sort of trauma, but he can see some now and he doesn't walk in circles. He is a little wobbly but getting better! He acts like a puppy and he likes to play bite when you pet him but he also likes to give kisses. He is working on his potty training and also walking on a leash. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play. A fenced in area is the best and if children are in the home they should be older. He is neutered, crate trained, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $250.00. If you would like more information about Oliver Twist email email@example.com or if you want to fill out a app for him go the the web site http://www.projecthoperescue.org

Meet Paula, a 4 year old 70 pound Shepard mix, Paula was really scared in the shelter but in her foster home she has opened up and is learning to trust again, she will need a patient family that will give her time to get to know them, she likes to be with her person, she walks very good on a leash and loves to go for walks, since she is little scared she would be better in a home with older children, she would be better with a male dog or she would be fine being the only dog, unsure about cats but best guess would be no cats ,she rides good in the car, a fenced in area is best depending on area, she is kennel trained to sleep in kennel at night but would probably be okay not being kenneled, but if kenneled she will whine unless kennel is in the same room as you are in, Paula likes to sit by you and get loved on, she is spayed, housebroke micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines and is on heartworm/flea/tick preventative, her adoption fee is $250.00 Paula is very sweet just needs a patient, loving person, if you are that person and want to know more about Paula email firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out app go to projecthoperescue.org
Hi! My name is Seymour! I weigh 51 pounds. Just LOOK at my handsome face! I am an 8 year old Shar-Pei Lab mix. I had a rough life before being rescued by Project Hope. I was underweight, had several bite wounds and didn't have a lot of fur. Just look at me now! Don't let my age fool you. I am still full of spunk and love to play. I love daily walks on the leash, but I really just like to spend most of my time lounging! Since I am getting up there in age, I am on glucosamine for my arthritis. I am also a little hard of hearing, but I can hear you if you speak up just a little. I would love to have a nice fenced in back yard to run around in safely because I might not always hear a car coming. The friendly doctors at the vet's office said that I need grain free food because of my allergies. I am currently eating Nature's Recipe. I am also currently being treated for heartworm, but that doesn't slow me down! I am house broken for the most part, but I do have an occasional accident every now and then. I do well in a crate while you are gone to work, or I can be left out of my crate to just sleep around the house. If you want to take me for a car ride, I love to smell the country air! I am neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. My adoption fee is $250. You can apply to adopt me at www.projecthoperescue.org If you have any questions, email email@example.com.
My name is Minnie and I am a 12 year old, 6 pound Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I had heartworms and went through the slow kill method - now, I am heartworm negative! I am looking for a forever home where I can sit in your lap and keep you company. I get along with other dogs. I love everyone but due to my age, children should be older in the home. I don't need a fenced in area but I need to be on a leash when outside. I am doing good on my potty training. I don't like being in a crate at night because I want to sleep with with my person! I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and I am micro chipped and my adoption fee is $175.00. If you want to know more about me email firstname.lastname@example.org or to fill out app for me go to http://www.projecthoperescue.org
Mia is an extremely shy tripod doberman mix, about three and a half years old, and about 40 lb. She will need another dog to help her come out of her shell and a physically fenced-in yard is a must. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is dog, cat, and kid friendly but a childless home may be best because of her extreme shyness. She will need an owner who understands that it may take a few months before Mia is comfortable enough to come up to you. She is fixed and up-to-date on all of her shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you would like more information about Mia, please email email@example.com. interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
