Hi friends, I’m Wizzard, a 9-month-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, and I weigh in at just 10 pounds. I’ve been through a lot, but things are looking up! I was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in Texas, and it was pretty scary. I had a bad skin condition from fleas and the awful living conditions, and I was frightened of everything – leashes, being touched, even walking on grass.
But thanks to some amazing people, I’ve made so much progress. Now, I actually enjoy being petted and can walk on a leash without being scared. I’m still a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I come around. I get along well with other dogs and think I’d be okay with cats, too. Because I’m a little timid, I’d do best with older children. I’d love a home with a fully FENCED-IN YARD so I can run and play to my heart’s content. Having another dog as a playmate would be awesome, too! I’m potty and crate trained, fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350. I’m told I’m super cute, and once my hair grows back in, I’ll be even more handsome. Questions about me? Email [email protected]. If you think we could be a good match, please fill out the adoption application HERE. I can’t wait to find my forever home – although I had a bad start, I know the rest of my life is going to be amazing!

Hello! I'm Derry, a handsome Staffy and gentle giant looking for my forever family. Weighing in at about 85 pounds, I'm solid muscle, but don't let that scare you! I'm a gentle, smart and loving boy who always wants to be near my family. Some would even call me a "velcro dog." I was picked up on the streets of Flint and taken to the Genesee County Animal Control, so my exact age is unknown, but they guess I'm around 6. I am currently hanging out in Marshall, Michigan waiting for my forever family.
I currently live with my foster mom and dad and three other dogs. From the moment I walked into my foster home, I've been respectful of my foster parents and furry siblings, getting along famously with all of them. Plus, I absolutely love going for walks and I ride great in the car! I’d love a home with a fenced-in yard, but it’s not a necessity to adopt me. I like kids, but I haven’t been exposed to any cats yet. So, what do you say, are you ready to bring this big hunk home? I'm perfection in every way - sweet, smart, loyal and lovable. Not only am I a dapper fella, but I'm also housebroken, crate-trained, neutered, up-to-date on all my shots, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300. Questions? Email [email protected]. If you're ready for a beautiful, gentle giant to join your family, please fill out the adoption application HERE. I can't wait to meet you and start making memories together! Hello kind humans! I'm Polly, the pocket Pittie! I’m a charming 1.5-year-old possible Pit/Jack Russell mix weighing in at just 22 lbs. I found myself alone and scared at the shelter, but now I’m enjoying life, waiting patiently for my second chance at my foster home in Plainwell, Michigan. I'm eager to find someone who will love me forever and play with me endlessly!
My foster mom says I'm a BIG sweetheart. I adore sitting on her lap and giving her kisses. I love playing with my foster dog siblings (sometimes a bit rough). Toys and chewables are my favorites. Despite my age, I still have the energy and playfulness of a puppy. Oh, did I mention I love to play? Don't worry, I know how to calm down and enjoy quiet moments too. I’m not a big fan of cats and I get very excited when greeting people, so I might be too much for little kids. My forever home will definitely need a fully FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and play until my heart’s content. I'm working on my house and leash manners, I’m crate-trained, sleep through the night and perfecting my potty training. Occasionally, I have accidents, but I'm getting better every day. I enjoy car rides, shopping trips, and even short visits to the pickleball court. I’m fully-vetted and ready to join your family with an adoption fee of $300. Questions? Email [email protected]. If you're ready to welcome a loving, playful and sweet companion into your home, fill out the adoption application HERE. Let's start our adventures together! Hi friends! I'm Francine the sweet 7-pound, 4-year-old Chihuahua mix. I was found as a stray with some wounds, but after some crate rest and meds, I've healed up nicely. I have an old injury to one of my eyes, so I can't see out of it, but the vet says it doesn't bother me at all. I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan.
I'm a petite little girl with adorable antenna ears. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy playing, but only for a short time before I'm ready to snuggle with my person. I'm not sure about cats, but I think I'd be good with them with proper introductions. Because I'm so small, older children are probably the best fit for me. A fenced-in area would be nice, but it's not a requirement. I enjoy going for walks and love laying on the deck to sun myself. I'm housebroken, but I'd probably do best with someone who uses potty pads. I love being with my person and will follow you around, giving you kisses. When I go to bed in my crate, I like to cover myself up completely. I'm fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $300. If you have any questions not answered in this bio, please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? Fill out the adoption application HERE. Let's start making memories together! Hey there, I'm Aubrey, the stunning 30-pound, 1-year-old female Plott Hound mix with a heart as beautiful as I am! I had a tough beginning, I was surrendered to an overcrowded kill shelter in Texas when I was just 4 months old because my owner had too many dogs. I was very, very scared, but thankfully Project Hope saw the pleading in my eyes and they saved me! I’m going to be honest with you here - I am a total sweetheart once I warm up to you, but I am just terrible at meet and greets! I don’t know what happens, I just get so nervous that I start acting all shy, and a lot of my amazing personality just flies right out the window. I really need an understanding family that knows it might take a few days for the true me to shine through. Then I’ll be on you like white on rice, I want nothing more than to be with my person. I love other doggos, but I haven’t had the pleasure of making any feline friends yet. I would probably do best in an adults-only household. I'm a spunky girl who loves nothing more than running and playing, so I'd thrive in a home with a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs. But hey, even if you don't have a yard, as long as we can go for walks and play together, I'll be one happy pup! After all that fun, I'm all about snuggling up with my favorite person for a nap. I'm potty and crate-trained, spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines, so I'm ready to bring love and laughter to my forever home. My adoption fee is $300, and if you have any questions, just shoot an email to [email protected]. Ready to make my dreams of a furever home come true? Click HERE.. Let's start making memories together! Hi there! I'm Martini, but my friends call me Tini. I'm a spayed female Lab/Shepherd mix, just a year old and weighing 55 pounds. I was found as a stray near the Mexican border when I was only three months old and ended up in an overcrowded shelter in South Texas. I was at the shelter for what seemed like forever and being a black dog, my life was at risk. Then one glorious day I was rescued! Now, I'm living with a wonderful foster family in Byron Center, MI.
I'm a bit shy when I encounter new situations, but I warm up quickly once I feel safe. I absolutely love other dogs and dream of having a furry friend to play with and help me build my confidence. I'm also very loyal and eager to please my humans. Cats don't really interest me much and I haven't met any small children yet, but my foster mom thinks my sweet nature would make me a great friend to respectful kids. I'm proud to say I'm housebroken and crate-trained and I ride great in the car! I would be so happy in a home with a FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and play to my heart's content. I'm already spayed, microchipped and up to date on all my vaccines and preventatives and my adoption fee is $300. Questions about me? Email [email protected]. If you think we could be the perfect match, please fill out the adoption application HERE. I'd love to meet you and become a part of your family! Oh la la! My name is Paris and I’m a 7-month-old, 30lb black Lab mix and I’m très ready to find my forever home! I was rescued from a culvert in Alabama with my siblings and being able to live in a home with a family is fantastic! I sleep all night in my crate, tell my family when I need to go outside, and I'm an excellent traveler in the car. I’m being fostered in Battle Creek, Michigan.
I am an incredibly curious girl, have a lot of energy and I’m very eager to please you. I love the dog park and I have made so many friends there! I’m learning my commands and so far, I know sit, lay down, shake and wait. Plus, my leash skills are getting better every day! I'm still a little food insecure, so be careful of leaving food on the counter, but that also means I'm extremely food motivated - I'll do just about anything for a treat! I do have some anxiety around bath time, so my future family will need to work with me on that. I LOVE kids and I’m not very interested in cats. I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350. Questions about me? Email [email protected]. Ready to make me a part of your family? Fill out the adoption application HERE. I can’t wait to meet you! I will definitely bring a lot of life, laughs, and love to your home! Hi friends! My name is Ram, and I'm a handsome 2-year-old Lab mix who was rescued just in the nick of time. I'm a happy, 60-pound bundle of energy, known for my sloppy kisses, wiggle butts and endless curiosity. I have a beautiful black bronze coat that is very unique! I’m looking for my forever family to start making good memories with.
I love to play and I would love another canine sibling to romp around with in a FENCED-IN YARD because I have a lot of energy! I'm great with older kids, but sometimes I get so excited that I jump up, which might be a bit much for the little ones. I can get along with cats too, with a slow introduction. I was a favorite amongst the shelter staff and my foster Mom says I'm one of the sweetest dogs she’s ever met. I've been learning my basic commands and how to be a good house pup. I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever been in a home, but I haven’t had a single accident, so I think it’s safe to say that I’m housebroken. I don't have any aggressive or destructive behavior and can even be trusted to be left out of my crate. I just want to be close to you, giving you hugs and kisses all the time. I'm fully-vetted and ready to find my forever home, with an adoption fee of $300. Questions about this handsome fella? Email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? Fill out the adoption application HERE. I'm so excited to meet you and share all the love and joy I have to offer! Calling all German Shepard dog lovers! Hi! My name is Daniel. I’m a 1 year old, 60lb German Shepard mix just waiting for my forever family to adopt me. At just 4 months old I found myself alone in a kill shelter before I was rescued. If you know Shepards, you know that I’m super smart, eager to learn, energetic and need my brain and body to be exercised regularly. If you are looking for a dog to do something exciting like “nose work”, or similar skill, that might be right up my alley. I’m also an extremely sweet and fun guy to hang out with! I love water….in fact, I’m getting pretty good at paddleboarding! And, if you are a hiker, jogger or bike rider, I’m learning to be a great partner for you, too!
I’m housebroken, crate-trained, love to go for walks, enjoy car rides and exploring. I’ve learned to fetch (I usually bring it back!), play Frisbee, and a good game of tug-of-war is always fun! Since I’m still a youngster, I’ve been working on my big dog manners with a wonderful trainer that I adore. My new family will need to continue working with me to help me be the very best boy that I can be. In fact, my trainer says she’ll even stay in contact with you to help you continue my lessons! How cool is that? My very best forever family MUST have a fenced in yard, kids over the age of 10 would be awesome, a big comfy crate for me when you leave the house, and most of all, I REALLY would be best with a fun, patient canine companion to play with me and that I can learn from. I’m a quick study when another dog shows me what to do and when I’ve gone a little too far in my playing….oops…I just get so excited!!! I am fully-vetted, neutered, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300. I live with my foster mom and canine friend in South Bend, Indiana, but if you live in Michigan, we can make that happen. So, if you are looking for a tall, dark, handsome, smart, fun, sweet and energetic guy to join your family, please consider me! If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Ready to start our adventures together? Click HERE to fill out the adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you! Hi there! I’m Demi, a three-year-old, 65-pound female yellow lab mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. I was rescued just in the nick of time and now I’m staying at a foster home in Battle Creek, Michigan. I've been through a lot of changes lately, so I was a bit shy at first, but I’m starting to feel more comfortable and my gentle, loving nature is coming out.
Let me tell you a bit about myself! I’m really good on a leash and I’m learning new commands every day. Car rides are one of my favorite things, and I always behave politely—I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t. I love playing tag, and I’m fully housebroken and crate-trained, though I don’t need to be crated. I was a little scared of the cats at first, but I’m getting used to them now. I dream of a home with a fully FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and play freely. I’d love to have a playful, confident dog buddy to help me build my confidence and show me the ropes. I’m fully vetted and ready to be your loyal companion for an adoption fee of $300. Questions? Email [email protected]. Hi there, I'm Peace Lily, the playful 6-month-old, 24lb German Shepherd mix eagerly looking for my forever family. I found myself as a scared stray all by myself at a kill shelter before I was rescued. When I first arrived to my foster home, I was pretty scared, but with some love and patience, I've come out of my shell and revealed my true fun-loving nature. Zooming around the yard is my absolute favorite pastime, and I'm always up for a game of fetch or tag! I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan.
I'm quite the social pup and get along great with other dogs, although I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. Kids are cool too, but I'm still learning not to jump up, so some supervision would be ideal. Walking on a leash is still a bit new to me, so I feel most comfortable in a FENCED-IN YARD where I can explore safely. I'm proud to say I'm making strides in my training—I'm almost a pro at potty training, and I'm a champ at sleeping through the night in my crate. Plus, I'm fully-vetted and ready to embark on all sorts of adventures with my new family with an adoption fee of $350. If you think we'd make the perfect match, reach out to [email protected] or click HERE to fill out an application. I can't wait to meet my forever family and shower them with love and puppy kisses! I’m most likely a Spaniel/Pointer mix and I think I’m going to be a bigger boy. I'm super friendly and submissive to other dog pals, and I dream of finding a forever home with a furry companion to share my adventures with. I love giving my canine friends kisses and doing laps together around the yard. My forever home will definitely need a fully FENCED-IN yard and a doggie best friend for me.
I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan. Life has been a whirlwind of new experiences since I arrived here, and I'm still getting used to being inside a home. But hey, I've already nailed crate and house training, so I'm a quick learner! While I'm still figuring out this whole leash thing, I'm making progress one paw at a time. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, I know I'll get there. I haven’t had any exposure to cats yet, and I think I’d do well with children over 6 years old. I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350. Are you the family I've been waiting for? If you have questions about me, please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? interested in adopting? The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place. CategoriesArchives |
