Ozzy is a 5 month old, 25 pound lab/terrier mix. Ozzy is very shy and will need a patient family that will give him time to get to know them. He has made a lot of progress and is coming around and likes to be petted and loved on after he gets to know you. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play but we aren't sure how he is with cats. Because he is shy, Ozzy must go to a home with another dog and a physical fenced in yard. Ozzy is working on potty training and doing very good. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.00. Otis is a 5 month old lab mix with the most beautiful green eyes, a wavy soft coat with flecks of black in it. He is a shy boy when you first meet him, but once he gets to know you, he follows you everywhere. He perks up when there is another dog around, so another dog in the home and a fenced yard is required with his adoption. We are unsure how he is with cats. He would do best with kids over 10 years old and an active family. He is completely crate trained and is working hard on his housebreaking skills. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and heartworm/flea meds. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have questions about Otis not covered in this bio, email projecthoperescue.org. Livia is an adorable 6 month old Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Livia has the cutest stubby, pig like, curled tail and Mickey Mouse print on the bottom of her paw! She is crate trained, house broken and has learned some basic commands. Liv loves playing with all her toys, chewing on her her bones and of course wrestling and running around with her doggie foster sister. When she's not doing that she loves to soak in the sun, take naps on your lap or just hang out with you while you go about your day. She just relishes being under the covers with you when she sleeps at night. Livia is a sweet, loving, happy, outgoing, energetic pup, she would do best with another dog in the home for companionship and to help run out that puppy energy. Livia would do well in just about any type of home, a fenced yard would be great for her but not necessary. She does well with other dogs, friendly cats and sure she would be fine with respectful children. She is up to date on vaccination, microchipped, flea and heartworm preventive and will be spayed June 9th which is when she will be available for adoption. interested in adopting?
The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application. In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference. Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet. If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
