Meet Blizzard – A Gentle Giant in the Making!

If you're looking for a pup whose heart is just as big as his paws, Blizzard might be your perfect match! This sweet 12-week-old Pyrenees/Newfoundland mix is already tipping the scales at nearly 35 pounds, and he's only just getting started.

Blizzard may look like a big fluffy bear, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s a gentle, smart, and respectful boy. His mom was a shepherd mix, and he’s clearly inherited her intelligence. He’s already house-trained and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, always showing submissive and polite manners.

While he's still working on his crate training, Blizzard would much rather snuggle up beside you at night. A fenced yard is preferred but not required—what matters most is a loving home that appreciates his sweet spirit and potential.

Bonus fun fact: Blizzard is a huge DogTV fan!

He comes neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Blizzard is ready to grow into the loyal, gentle companion you’ve been dreaming of.

Blizzard is almost 35 lbs (and growing), neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.00. Please email us at [email protected] if you have questions about him or to apply to adopt, click HERE.

Meet Milton! He is just a good ol’ boy with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging. This lovable pup is the life of the party at the dog park—he absolutely thrives on playtime and gets along famously with other dogs. Milton's boundless energy and playful spirit are matched only by his love for food and treats, which he’ll gladly earn with his best sit or paw. He’s crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and fully up to date on his vaccines, making him the total package for anyone looking for a fun-loving companion. Due to his playful nature and need to stretch his legs, Milton would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run and play to his heart’s content. Whether he's romping around with his furry friends or curling up after a tasty snack, Milton is ready to bring joy to his forever home. Milton is about 2 years old about 70 lbs.

Chance is a 1 year old, 47 pound male shepherd/lab mix. He is a very happy and playful pup with so much love to give!

Chance has been enjoying playtime with his fosters dogs and is able to keep himself busy with toys when his friends aren’t interested in playing. He has a very calm demeanor and loves to snuggle up with his people on the couch. He usually prefers to sleep on his dog bed at night.

Chance would do best in a home with someone who will play and work his puppy energy out as he still has a few puppy tendencies. Chance has a slight limp of his front left paw. The vet has labeled this a deformity and nothing to worry about, but we do give him cosequin everyday and t arnica for relief when he plays hard. Overall, it doesn’t seem to stop him at all but I would recommend keeping walks on the shorter side. Whoever gets to love this boy is going to have a best friend for life.

Chance is housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and is great with other dogs and cats. His adoption fee is $300.

Hi. My name is Lacy and I’m a 4 year old, 24 pound female beagle. I was found in Virginia running with some puppies. They don't know if the puppies belonged to me, but no one claimed me so now I am in Michigan and looking for a family to love and care for me!

I’m very sweet and I love everyone. Not sure about cats as I haven't been around any, but I get along with other dogs and would be good with children. I do like to go out and smell all the smells outside so a fenced-in yard is required for my adoption! I love to be with my person, ride good in a car, and walk good on a leash.

I am working on being potty trained and am doing good. I am crate trained, spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on my vaccines. My adoption fee is $300.

Bella is an 8 month old, 30 lb, female black lab/pit mix. She is the absolute sweetest dog! She loves her people and is full of kisses at all times. She does have some puppy energy and loves to go for walks.  She loves nothing more than a quiet evening at home with her head in your lap. A perfect fit home would be a family that has time to help get her puppy energy out and then would like nothing more than to snuggle on the couch in the evening. She also rides great in the car and would love to go on any adventures with her people.

Bella is housebroken, crate trained, micro-chipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $350.

Hi. My name is Shimmer and I'm a 1 year old, 27 pound, female terrier mix. I am very sweet but I am shy and it takes me awhile to get to know you. After I get to know you, I am very loving and love to be with my person. I get along with other dogs, not sure about cats as I haven't been around any. Since I am shy it's best if children are older. I will require a fenced-in yard and another confident dog in the home to help me with my confidence. I like to run and play outside and then I'm ready to come in and play with my toys or take a nap! I need a patient person to give me the time I need to adjust to my new home and family.

I'm housebroken, crate trained, micro-chipped, spayed, and up to date on my vaccines. My adoption fee is $300.00. If you have any questions not answered in this bio email us at [email protected] or to fill out a app for me, click HERE.

Hi, my name is Lance! I’m a big boy – about 75 pounds – and am a bit of a mix as far as my relatives go. We think I’m between 2 and 3 years old. I love long walks, playing fetch (ball, stick or frisbee, I’m not particular) and, of course, TREATS! I’m neutered, microchipped and up-to-date with all my vaccinations. I’m also crate trained and sleep in there very peacefully.
My foster parents are teaching me good leash skills and are also perfecting my housetraining and my understanding of commands. They say I’m sweet, super-smart and am especially gifted at snuggling. My most favorite place to be is in your lap! I’m up for a good belly scratch any time and most days are not complete without a short zoomie session before bed.
A fenced in yard or a multi-acre plot would be my ideal home situation because I’m still a young boy with lots of energy to spare. I absolutely love to run around and chase birds! I’m actually fascinated by all types of wildlife, including squirrels and deer, and can often be found staring out my foster parents’ back window keeping notes on all the duck, swan and goose traffic on their pond.
I get along well with humans but am still getting used to my own size so I would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. I definitely like other dogs and am always up for a playdate but am still a little unsure about cats.
Lance's adoption fee is $300.00. If you have questions not covered in this bio, please email us at [email protected]. To apply to adopt, click HERE.

Hi there, my name is Wiggles, and I am a wiggly little girl. I am 1 year old and 30 pounds, terrier mix . I was in a shelter but needed more one on one as I am very shy and  need time to get to know you! I love to run and play and I do get the zoomies outside. I love playing with toys, too. I get along with all dogs big or small, don't know about cats as I haven't been around any, but I think after I meet them I would be okay. Since I am shy the children should be older. I will require a fenced in yard and another dog in the home to help with my confidence. A quiet home is the best. I'm doing good in my foster home and have gained some confidence, but still need to gain more confidence. I am  a very sweet and loving little girl!!

I need a family that will give me time to adjust to them. I am doing very good on my potty training. I am crate trained, micro-chipped, spayed and up to date on my vaccines. My adoption fee is $300.00.

Meet Skymir!
Your 40-pound bundle of joy, wagging his way into your heart!

Hi there! I’m Skymir — a lively, 1.5-year-old male black Lab mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never quits. I weigh about 40 pounds and carry a perfect mix of sweetness, smarts, and silliness.

My story began in a southern shelter, where I ended up all alone as a puppy. It was a scary time, but a kind-hearted rescuer saw something special in me and gave me a second chance. Now I'm thriving in Michigan (near Coldwater!) and looking for my forever family to share all of life’s adventures.

Here’s what you’ll love about me:

* I’m playful, affectionate, and full of wiggles—especially when I see my foster siblings!
* Give me a good, hard bone and I’m in heaven.
*Squirrel-chasing? Yes, please!
* I’m a smart cookie who learns fast, especially when treats are involved.
* I love cozy mornings in my crate and sunbathing on warm afternoons.

While I can be a little shy at first, I warm up quickly with a gentle touch and kind words. I’m working on my manners (sometimes I get too excited and jump up), but with a little patience and consistency, I’m learning every day.

My dream home?
A fenced-in yard would be perfect for all my zoomies and sniffari adventures! I’d do great with another playful pup or an active family who wants a loyal companion. I'm happiest when I'm with my people or four-legged friends—I'm not a fan of being alone for too long.

If you're looking for a sweet, energetic buddy who will love you endlessly and make every day brighter, I might just be your guy.

Let’s make forever happen — come meet me and fall in love!

I’m fully-vetted, housebroken, crate-trained and ready to join your family with an adoption fee of $300. Questions? Shoot an email to [email protected]. Ready to make me a part of your family? Fill out an application by clicking HERE.

One year old Jacob found himself in a Texas shelter with a toe injury. He has recovered well and made his way up to Michigan in search of his forever home. He is all ears and all cute! Jacob gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is crate and house trained and an all around smart boy, typical of his breed. He is a little shy at first,  but comes right out of his shell after a bit. Because of his shyness, a physical fenced yard is required.  Jacob is 40 lbs (and growing), neutered, up to date in shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. Please email us at [email protected] if you have questions about him. Ready to apply for him, click HERE.

Hi friends, I'm Blake, a big hunk of puppy love with an even bigger heart! At 1 year old and 52 lbs, I'm still growing into my paws and discovering the joys of the world. I’m most likely a Spaniel/Pointer mix and I think I’m going to be a bigger boy. I'm super friendly and submissive to other dog pals, and I dream of finding a forever home with a furry companion to share my adventures with. I love giving my canine friends kisses and doing laps together around the yard. My forever home will definitely need a fully FENCED-IN yard and a doggie best friend for me.

I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan. Life has been a whirlwind of new experiences since I arrived here, and I'm still getting used to being inside a home. But hey, I've already nailed crate and house training, so I'm a quick learner! While I'm still figuring out this whole leash thing, I'm making progress one paw at a time. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, I know I'll get there. I haven’t had any exposure to cats yet, and I think I’d do well with children over 6 years old.

I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $300.00. Are you the family I've been waiting for? If you have questions about me, please email [email protected]. Ready to bring me home? To fill out the adoption application, click HERE. Let's embark on this journey together and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Hey there, I’m Zero! My foster family gave me that name because they say I remind them of the dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I was found wandering the streets of Louisiana and found myself scared and alone at a high-kill shelter. Luckily, Project Hope rescued me. I’ve made my way north and now I’m ready to find my forever family!

I’m about 2 years old, weigh 45 pounds, and have short, fluffy black fur with some bronze mixed in. People say my deep brown eyes are pretty hard to resist. I’m probably a mix of a bully breed, Shar-Pei and Lab, but all I know is I’m 100% lovable and loyal. I live with my foster family in Saginaw, Michigan, and boy, is it a full house! There’s my foster mom, five human kids, two dog siblings (one’s a Great Dane, so she’s huge!), a cat and even a rabbit. I get along great with the other dogs, and I’m trying really hard to get used to the cat and the rabbit too. I also love every human I meet—big, small, young, old—I’m friends with everyone!
When I’m not running zoomies in the backyard with the other dogs, I’m working on my training. I’ve already mastered “sit,” “here,” and “down,” and I’m learning more commands like “leave it” and “off.” My foster mom says I’m a quick learner, and with a little time and patience, I can do just about anything. Also, I’ll need a fully FENCED-IN YARD so I can run and play until my heart’s content!

I love chewing on toys, especially horns, antlers, and stuffies, and I take treats gently. I sleep all night in my bed in my foster mom’s room without any accidents. I’m not a fan of getting on the furniture—no couches or human beds for me, thanks! I just like to be near you, whether it’s at your feet or next to your chair. I’m working on crate training, too. It’s not my favorite, but I’m getting better since I know my foster mom always comes back for me. Car rides make me a little nervous, but I’m improving there as well—I prefer hanging out in the back seat.
I’m a sweet, goofy and devoted pup who just wants to follow my people from room to room and be with them always. Could you be the one I’ve been waiting for? My adoption fee is $300, and I’m fully-vetted and microchipped. Questions about me? Email [email protected]. If you think we’re a perfect match, fill out an adoption application HERE. I can’t wait to meet you!

    interested in adopting?

The first step is for you to fill out an adoption application.  In order to meet and greet available dogs, we must receive a completed application. Approval for adoption requires a successful home visit and veterinary reference.  Applying to adopt and meeting a potential dog does not obligate you to adopt the dog you meet and greet.  If it is not a match for you or them, adoption will not take place.
